BOY’S OWN TOP TUNES PLAYLIST 1990

BOY’S OWN SOUNDS OF THE SUMMER 1991

GUEST PLAYLIST NUMBER 1 - CYMON ECKEL (BOY’S OWN)

Bedroom Funk is collection of diverse tracks, seemingly random, but all personalised through memories and conversations, they are strewn all about, in a private, untidy place where the rough edges and scratchy love songs, get tangled up in the knicker draw of electronica with big ideas, and all their own mismatched groove!

GUEST PLAYLIST NUMBER 2 - KIRK BEATTIE (DMSR)

These tracks, for the most part, have been faithful companions over the years - songs I know so well they have a residency in my head. these have been joined by some relative newcomers, tunes that have strolled in and found a cozy corner in my brain. It’s like some kind of musical family reunion on a sun drenched island, where old favourites swap stories with the fresh faces.

GUEST PLAYLIST NUMBER 3 - GREG HEWITT (DMSR)

A little spice… A playlist full of sounds, moods and moments from around the world. Dance floors from the past and beats for the future.

GUEST PLAYLIST NUMBER 4 - KEVIN MACEY (AMP+DECK)

Somewhere in the middle is an eclectic mix of music spanning the globe, from a range of artists, old and new. This mix can be played at midday or in the middle of the night - it draws deep inspiration from my time playing at Ibiza’s most iconic venue, Pikes. Hope you enjoy it.

GUEST PLAYLIST NUMBER 5 - TERRY FARLEY (BOY’S OWN)

So these are the styles and fashions I love hearing when cycling or just getting the steps in. All conjure up dances / fashion or simply places I still wanna visit, Enjoy!

GUEST PLAYLIST NUMBER 6 - STEVE HALL (JUNIOR BOY’S OWN)

Some tunes from the heady days of the early acid house scene when it was all about the eclectic mix and the xtc rush.File along side Balearic beats vol 1 on ffrr & vol 2 on JBO. Yeah…… we all claim to have been dancing to the latest release on metroplex or something equally cool but the truth is often somewhat different 🙂

GUEST PLAYLIST NUMBER 7 - JOHN MATTHEWS

Something for the mind, the body and the soul. A very personal playlist that reflects my eclectic musical tastes and goes some way to explaining why I ended up gravitating towards kindred spirits, the Boys Own crew, back in the day. Enjoy, but…..DO NOT SHUFFLE!

GUEST PLAYLIST NUMBER 8 - CHRIS FRIEZE (NEVER NEVER)
